Our Middle Eastern Feast ~ simple, flavourful food made with basic ingredients. The kind of food that is shared with loved ones. This is a cook along class.

Menu

Bread and Dip Course

Hummus with Nuts and Olive Oil (Palestine/Lebanon)

Traditional creamy chickpea dip.

Muhammara (Syria)

A smoky, sweet red pepper and walnut dip, enhanced by pomegranate molasses.

Manakish with Za’atar (Lebanon)

Lebanese flatbread topped with za’atar and olive oil.

Salad

Fattoush (Lebanon/Syria)

Mixed vegetable salad with crispy pita chips and a zesty sumac dressing.

Tabbouleh (Lebanon)

A fresh parsley and bulgur salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, and lemon.

Main Course

Chicken Mandi (Yemen)

Fragrant rice and tender spiced chicken cooked with cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon.

Musakhan (Palestine)

A traditional Palestinian dish of sumac-spiced chicken with caramelized onions, served over flatbread and garnished with toasted pine nuts.
